Start-up Guidance

Are you thinking about a start-up? Do you feel like you could use a helping hand so you don’t make expensive mistakes?

I’ve started many businesses in Australia and overseas. I’ve learned a lot through the years—sometimes the hard way. Let me work with you so you can avoid the costly mistakes, make smarter moves, and achieve your dream.

Where do I start?
Starting a business is not difficult. Anyone can register a name or a company and feel like they’ve “launched.”
But running it, growing it, and keeping it alive—that’s where most people fall down.

We’ll look at the basics first:
Do we run the business under your name? A business name? A company?
What suits you depends on your goals, your money situation, and how serious you are about this dream.

The paperwork is easy—any accountant can do it.
Understanding why you’re doing this, and how you’re going to run it… that’s the real beginning.
We’ll do that together.
What are my business goals?
This part is more important than most people think.

You can’t start a business only on emotions—“I like this,” “I always wanted to do this,” “I feel good about this.”
Those feelings matter, but they don’t pay the bills.

We have to be practical.
What do you want from this business?
More money? More freedom? A long-term goal? A better life?

And one golden rule you cannot ignore:
If there is no demand, there is no point in supply.
We will make sure your goals match the reality of the market.
How do I create a business plan?
People download templates and think they have a business plan.
A template is nothing — it’s just paper.

What matters is the thinking we put into it.
We will sit down and build your business on paper first:
- how much money you need
- how much money you can make
- when profit will come
- what happens if you lose money at the start
- your expenses, your risks, and your cash flow

This is the plan that will guide you when things get hard—and things will get hard.
How am I going to market my product or service?
You might have a very good idea—some people have brilliant ideas—but nobody knows about it.

So we ask the real questions:
Who are we selling to?
Will they pay the price you want?
Why will they choose you?
What makes your product or service different?

We look at your target audience, the area you want to serve, and the demand in that area.
Then we work out the strategies to reach them.

This part can be exciting—it’s where your idea starts feeling real.
How do I understand legal and tax obligations?
This is where many good people get into trouble.

Your business can be doing well—money coming in, customers happy—and then one letter from an authority can destroy everything if you haven’t set things up properly.

I’ve seen people walk away because the problem became too big.
Everything they worked for… gone.

We will not let that happen.
If we need an accountant or a lawyer, we will get one.
We will set your foundation right.
What risks am I taking?
Business always has risk.
We cannot remove risk—we can only manage it.

Your risk level depends on where you are in life, how much responsibility you have, and even your personality.

We will go through the risks you can take, the ones you should not take, and how to move forward without putting your life in chaos.

The goal is simple:
Start your business with confidence, not fear.
Starting a business and don’t want to do it alone?

Avoid the costly mistakes and get clear, practical guidance from someone who has built businesses for decades.
